Arrangement Work Intensified in Panggang Island Urban Village

The Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands has deployed PPSU personnel to manage the area.

It includes environment arrangement, tree pruning, public facility and road painting, and park arrangement

Panggang Urban Village Head, M. Fakih stated, PPSU personnel have been deployed since February 7 for arrangement work on Pramuka Island and Panggang Island which targeted to be completed by the end of this month. It was conducted to beautify and make the area more safe and comfortable.

"It includes environment arrangement, tree pruning, public facility and road painting, and park arrangement," he stated, Friday (2/11).

The arrangement work on Pramuka Island was carried out by pruning trees, painting public facilities and road curbs. While on Panggang Island, personnel improved water channels, arranging collector roads, and arranging food stalls and tents on the road side.

Before arranging the area, his side had conducted socialization to local residents and RT/RW.

"We deploy 35 PPSU personnel on Pramuka Island and 36 PPSU personnel on Panggang Island. Hopefully, they can complete all works by the end of this month," he stated.
